Description
AC microgrid focusing on energy management in connected mode and on operation in isola- ted mode. There are currently two basic strategies for energy management using different storage systems, the goal of which is to avoid wasting energy at the connection point with the mid-voltage grid.
 
The microgrid is connected to a substation belonging to Cener (66KV/20KV) and has a CT (20KV/400V) from which the facility’s busbar is fed. The system is capable of managing power in an independent and autonomous manner in each of its phases.
 

Services offered

It was also conceived as a test bench, meaning it can be used to conduct trials and to develop projects.

Cener’s microgrid includes supervision control designed entirely at Cener. Furthermore, it is controlled by means of the SCADA system, which was also designed entirely at Cener. The equipment control system and the supervision control mechanism are programmed at an industrial PLC with the aim of producing a robust system that is used largely in industrial con- texts.
