2 x 200 L weather chambers, 1 x 350 L chamber and 1 x 600 L chamber with safety level 6, enabling cell and module tests to be conducted safely within a temperature range   of –40 °C to 180 °C. The chambers by the commercial firm CTS include a temperature sensor and a CO sensor that, upon reaching a specific limit, activates nitrogen refrigeration and breaks the rupture disk, thus preventing any damages to the battery and to the user.
 
  • 6 Prebatem heaters from the commercial firm Selecta with a temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C for performing tests at room temperature. These heaters have no safety means but are intended to act as a temperature conditioning system for tests at room temperature.
  • 1 calorimeter from the commercial firm THT for measuring the heat generated by batte- ries in charging and discharging processes.
